Wir haben die Reisterrassen von Jatiluwih in der Regency Taban auf Bali schon mehrfach besucht. Diese Woche ist es ziemlich heftig mit dem Wetter, The Bali Sun berichtet hier auf Englisch:
“Bali erlebt diese Woche eine Menge schlechtes Wetter. Touristen und Einheimische werden gewarnt, sich vor Gewittern, möglichen Überschwemmungen und Erdrutschen in Acht zu nehmen. Ein wichtiges touristisches Wahrzeichen ist bereits in Mitleidenschaft gezogen worden. Ein Erdrutsch hat den Parkplatz der UNESCO-Welterbestätte Jatiluwih weggespült. Die ikonischen Reisterrassen im Bezirk Tabanan hatten bereits Probleme mit der Bereitstellung von ausreichend Parkplätzen für Touristenfahrzeuge. Der Erdrutsch ereignete sich am Sonntagnachmittag, und die Behörden sind immer noch mit den Aufräumarbeiten beschäftigt.”
